Lessons will be taking place in Calgary, Alberta until June 2008. Please send an e-mail to inquire about private lessons in the Calgary area, or to book Cynthia for a workshop within the province.

Cynthia has been teaching since the age of 13 and has taught people ages 4 to 81. Now teaching privately, Cynthia offers intruction for all levels of fiddling (ie. beginner, intermediate, etc.). As everyone has a different method of learning, Cynthia varies her teaching techniques to best suit each individual student.

Lessons include:

• beginner basics
• sight-reading
• learning by ear
• different types of tunes (waltzes, jigs, reels, marches, strathspeys, etc.)
• wide variety of tunes (traditional, recent compositions, etc.)
• theory
